Default Anyone live near Bernardsville, NJ and want to take a look at a car for me?

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a B7 S4 Avant at Audi of Bernardsville and was wondering if someone could cruise by and verify the condition before I send the check and have the car shipped to Denver. I would gladly paypal you a few bucks for your gas/time.

Thanks

Default As a repeat buyer from them, their cars are always cleaner than they look

I'd offer to go up if I was home, but I'm at school right now. Which Avant? The black or the silver one?

Default Good to know. It's the Silver one and...

...they came down a bit on the price and added the Certified warranty.

Default skip...they are a nightmare

I would NEVER EVER buy a used car from them again. The short version is I bought my car with 4k miles and shortly after bringing it home my clutch melted down. They REFUSED to repair it or pay for the repairs. When the clutch was removed it was clear it suffered abuse. The last straw was when the owner said to me.."You are not worth my time, I sell A8 W12s all day and I don't have time to deal with small time S4 buyers."

Default FYI, a friend has some issues with a CPO'ed B6 S4 he bought there....

although overall they are a great dealership. One can never be sure. Personally I would NEVER buy a car unless myself or someone I really trusted were to give it a good overview and send me many detailed pictures.

Default I'm not so concerned with it mechanically since there is a warranty

What I am looking for is someone to verify the condition of the vehicle.

Default Yeah. I'm real sorry. If I were home I'd shoot up there in a heartbeat to check it out

But I'll stick by them; the cars are like freakishly pristine. Their cars have always been in much better shape then comparable models. I'm not sure if my word is worth anything lol but I hope it helps.
