Default but AFS would have set up the repo before then

giving the repo company time to get their job done.

lot's of companies had friday off, due to xmas eve being saturday, and then had monday off too. if nothing else, AFS waited for the check to clear, which can take up to 3 days... and some banks weren't open on sat or monday. or the front ends were open but back ends (check processing etc) were closed.

the repo on your car was sunmitted to the company I'm guessing on thursday or friday.

they did recon on your car, and then went to get it.

also, you may have had a check to AFS by friday, but they didn't have cash in hand...

I'll submit a check to my mortgage company tomorrow for the balance on my house... but they're not going to give me the title... as the check would bounce higher than a rubber ball...
they're just covering their end.

the long and short of it is you did not abide by your signed contract to pay a monthly ammount to AFS.

I think it's very unfortunate that this happened to you, but it happened.

I'd try to pay the fees, walk away from this having learned something for the future. There's little chance that AFS will be paying for the repo fee.

Default please.. when you grow a set a feel safe enough to ride outside your 4 door cage.. give me a call..

until then.. keep dreamin to be me.. 3 months and already 2500 miles.. i was on the highway the day after the course

ride or die baby!.. oh i'm sorry.. you only have a license to drive a car... been there done that - i must say it was boring.. it's all about the open road and the bike these days...

i'm sure you'll get that feeling.. but in the meantime, i'll let you borrow my wife's strawberry shortcake tricycle.. you can learn balance on that before you take on riding...

bwhahahahaha

how've you been foolio?

nothing is better than getting out on two wheels... I took advantage of the weather on Xmas Eve to put in a couple hours of riding time...
