Glorified Trailblazer...
I looked at them for the last go around for the wifey. If you are looking, check into the 4.3i. The V8 gets the same fuel econ as the V6, and is so much more responsive. I forget the package I was looking at, but it was nice looking (two tone leather, different wheels, maybe a special color too).
All in all I rented many Trailblazers on vacation though, and couldn't get past the fact that is what it is. I am sure it is pretty reliable as the Chevy is. I remember one big negative for me was the rear seat was not comfy (too short I think). Also, the interior felt cheap.
It was on my short list though... not a bad looking truck and decent options too. You could most likely find one heck of a deal on a pre-owned.

Its a Chevy Trailblazer/GMC Envoy/Isuzu Ascender/Buick Ranieer. So any forum
addressing one of those trucks should give you your answer. Structurally, all those trucks are the same thing; you're just paying more for branding

...and the V6 Trailblazer is horribly slow
Used one to move me into school freshman year (well, Envoy, but same difference). Foot to the floor, it took like 30 seconds to get from 65 to 70. Brakes had the feel of a wet sponge, steering was vague, etc. By contrast, other SUVs we rented to various move ins were an Expedition and a Durango, both of which were better vehicles.

Yep... I've rented just about every car and truck out there...
Most of them have been 2WD as they were down in Florida, so a bit quicker. The V6 TB also had such a tall 1st gear... I think 1st takes you past 50 when floored IIRC. My most recent SUV's were:
Pacifica (Dropped the trans...oops)
Highlander V6 2WD (quick but terrible handling)
Durango V6 (couldn't get out of it's own way)
Durango V8 Limited (not bad but like driving the QE2)
Trailblazer V6 2WD (could power brake it lol)
Commander V6 4X4 (fun on the beach, but slow as hell and not comfy at all)
Caddy SRX (not terrible overall)
Most of the rest have been cars... depends on if I take everyone with me or not. I do have video of me neutral dropping the one Durango in Daytona on the cruising night... the crowd was dying (as was my wife!). Come to think of it, did a hell of a burn out the year before in a Supercharged Grand Prix too :-)

I bought the FX35 back in 07 for the Wifey...been awesome...
Sport package with 20" wheels, etc. The 45 was nice, but not that much quicker for the horrible gas mileage (I only get like 18 with the 35). Plus, the 35 was a bit more nimble. If gas was cheap I would totally get the 45 though.
