fvckin NYS/nassau cops...
almost got stopped on ocean parkway for just driving there around midnight, i was looking for an open parking field to get to the beach but apparently its all closed up. (cop puts searchlight on me while im driving...wtf? DIE U FF!) went to Pt. Lookout with teh gf and a bottle of wine, hit the beach...almost get cought leaving beach with alcohol after dark, walk forever to get back to my car (actually legally parked in that town which is near impossible) arrive at my car to see two nassau county cops BSing with eachother right next to my car...aside from me+gf the entire town is dead. (i looked for the most lit house as we walked back to the car and remembered the street number) cop asks wtf im doing. "leaving my parents house, we just had dinner." oh yea which house is that? *regurgitate house number and street name* hmmm...OK go home!

maybe cops dont want ppl going to the beach at night???
b/c shadey **** potentially goes on, like you trying to drown your gf, being pissed off she's moving back home?? and nobody would hear her cries of help??

9 out of 10 times...
whenever i drive out there late at night for a cruise or "spirited driving" etc. i get pulled over... and get asked a great deal of questions... its expected... at least i expect it. i mean there isnt anything there. i pull over, turn on my interior lights, shut off the car put my keys on the dash, and politely answer the questions... i have nothing to hide, and im not doing anything wrong (outside of the intermittent "spirited driving".) so no need to act crazy and defensive etc. it doesnt really get you that far when you go about it that way either..

Pt Lookout is a very small town..where everyone is known..an outsider stands out
like a sore thumb.
Jones, and all those south shore beaches, are state parks...close after dark except for Field 4 and Cedar where the Clam Shack is.
I drive Ocean Pky after dark all the time..only got stopped once for no front plate...

isnt there a thursday meet out there during the season?
i went a few times, there were tons of NCPD cars but they didnt seem to care that there were ppl hanging out there... just making sure they do not do burn-outs or whatever.
