Default GAS CANS..??

Is it legal to carry gas cans in your trunk?? Thinking fo purchasing 2 5 gallon tanks and filling up in NJ tonite?? any thoughts??

Default no it is not.

empty ones yes, but you cannot transport gas... especially nowadays going through tunnel or bridge... if you get stopped for a search youll be fined heavily.

$4.39 vs $3.77 might be, but I still wouldn't take the chance.

Default he will be driving his V8 down to NJ from Danbury, CT to get 10 gallons of gas.

all this to save $6. between the toll he will be using and the gas consumed to do the trip, i do not think so.

Saving 6.20 isnt even worth discussing it. (10 gallons at .62 savings)

i guess it balances out. his property taxes are not as high as NJ. =)
