NYC to Stowe, VT, where are the Police?

NY Thruway is too much fun
Most State Cops I come across leave there radar on. It always seems to be KA Band Radar (Thats what my Passport says) A few weeks ago when I drove up to Killingon, I must have passed at least 5 cops driving southbound with there radar on (well enough time to adjust speed) If you use just a little common sence you will be fine. I have seen cops driving Southbound pull people over driving Northbound. 99% of the time there hiding in one of those U-Turn Areas.
Only once in driving to VT (I've done this drive a 1,000 times) have I been hot with Laser. I wasn't speeding at the time.
A few weeks ago driving up, I got to stretch my legs driving next to a new M5.

do yourself a favor next time -- take the Merritt not 95
95 takes you too far east, the Merritt is defintiely faster. this route has been tested for 12 winters. Always wins vs 95 and Thruway.

From Poughkeepsie to Burlington
I got Taconic to 22, to 22A to 7, to 89.
Takes less than 4 hours.
Went to Killington last weekend....every miles of 4 was covered by a Vermont State Trooper

Not at night too many bends for them to hide around and you cant track head lights as easily
since your disappearing around bends. Maybe I should say it's too fun to drive spirited and I have no self control.
