hello hello
hofstra is treating me good, two kids on my floor had their cars stolen in first two weeks of classes, so needless to say im getting a little concerned. i mean i know my car is nothing special compared to what some kids drive around here, but i think i would go on a killing spree if something happened to it.
when i go home for thanksgiving ill be putting it in the garage for the winter and covering it, so all ill have is the pictures on my computer. :-( sniff sniff
who in the building are you friends with? maybe ive run into them...
let me know

the kid with the 325Ci
i just put on the clear sides/tails/fronts on his car last week. i know another kid with a black e46 m3 in the building. everyone i know around here is screwed once winter comes, everyones putting their cars away or have bmws that wont move in the snow...right nowim just aiming to get my car running before thanksgiving so once it snows around here i can be the one doing the driving/having all the fun
the m3 was fun to drive but i cant see it moving an inch with more than flurries on the ground.

is it
that bad there (theft wise) that you feel you cant keep it there? seems a shame that such a nice car and snow worthy and ur gonna lock her up. My brother in law works for facilities there, Im gonna ask him what he knows about the theft situations in any case.

well, haha its hard to answer. i mean my friends here drive nicer cars then i have and they really..
dont care that much. but i have spoken with a kid here about our cars earlier on this school year and he was saying how he was concerned about his wheels being snatched. next thing you know he is knocking on my door telling me his car was just stolen. it really is horrible that **** like happens, and im sure in his case it was because it was a heavily moded civic si which is one of the most stolen brand/model cars around and doesnt really offer any security features (however in his case he had the club and viper alarm on it).
i have put around 40 miles on my car in the month i have been here, so its not really vital that i keep it here. i dont drive it to the city i take the train, and i walk to my classes, so the garage will be a great place for it while im here. i have like month and half off between semesters that i will be driving it but less time on the salt infested roads the better.
let me know what info you get from your brother in law.
