So I had this idea.......

As Lee said, avg ACNA school runs roughly $400 for two days
however, since more and more tracks are becoming private owned/club owned, weekend sessions are becoming quite expensive.
Just my $0.02.
Just my $0.02.

When I checked into it the cheapest I saw was like$800.00. $400.00 I can do NP.
Are you sure its only $400.00 for everything for both days? Perhaps I am looking in the wrong places.

Yup, just checked my CC receipt for VIR, two days, WEEKDAYS that is..
$360 IIRC for VIR in April
$360 IIRC for Winter Driving School in NH
$400 most likely cheaper, for two days driving school in October, here in NJ....

There are a lot of additional costs (room, food, other). A few hundred minimum
not including spares etc....
Pads, fluid, etc.
I figure these things are probably in the 800-1000 range all in

FYI to anyone else reading - Pricing
$295 for the 2 days
$35 helmet rental
Meals/Lodging not included. Lodging around LR is limited, and there aren't many cheap places.
You'll need to get a pre-event tech inspection from a local mechanic. Shouldn't cost more than $25 or so (I think my local guy used to charge me $10).
A big part of the cost of attending these events will be from brake pads / rotors and tires. Beginning groups can usually make these items last through a few 2-day events, but as you move up (and get faster), you start eating through pads and tires quicker. Be prepared. You can also expect to go through a tank of gas per day.
