what do you guys/girls think of having a cruise to raise money for....
a donation to the people in New Orleans.... I've donated 10 bucks myself via the red cross (yeh i know it's not much but all could afford) but I think if we get a nice cruise together maybe we can raise a few more bucks....I have never done anything like this....would anyone like to participate while it's still warm out and does anyone have ideas on how to make this work???

that would be somewhat a challenge....I dont know any sponsors...nor..
do I know a place where we could bar people from getting in unless they paid admission fee....

The easy street would be to get a few cuties for a Car wash and donate that money.
A cruise would be a little contradiction, one could argue that why spend the money on gas and travel around instead of just collecting a Gas tank full worth of $$$ from each and donate it....just a thought.
Maybe a GTG and collect at the Meeting point the money saved for the cruise?! Then go public on AW or local paper and let the world know.
Sponsorship could become challenging because companies may search for a Tax break, so something in writing.

yes that does make sense...thank you....keep the ideas coming guys...so
how about we do a car wash...??? 5 bucks to handwash a car (and if we have like 10 people we can handwash those babies spotless in like 5 minutes)...so who would be down....where...and where can we have a good spot for traffic and a hose....we can make a large poster to say what our efforts are going for and we can attract more than a few cars that way...

Spend money to raise money.. not with gas at its current level.. however...
