Staying home................
BBQ for family, then watching the Jones Beach Fireworks, either by boat or from the end of my block (great view across the bay).
btw: for those that do not have access to a boat on the south shore or do not want to deal with the traffic going to and from Jones Beach, you can see the Fireworks from: Wantagh Park (Wantagh), Cedar Creek Park (Seaford) or Florence Avenue Beach (Massapequa).
Whatever you decide, get to these locations early.
also: Inc. Village of Amityville Fireworks Display can be seen from the Great South Bay on Saturday night.<ul><li><a href="http://nysparks.state.ny.us/events/info.asp?eventID=502">Your New York State Tax Dollars at work ;-)</a></li></ul>
