Default After taking the ar to Larson this morning, I thank God I don't have to make that drive every

morning. New Narrows bridge can't be built fast enough.

Default Larson... ugh... good luck with the service. I don't think I'm taking mine back there...

... ever again, if I can help it. They may not be the WORST Audi dealer but they CAN'T be the best.

Default So far, so good. They rented me a car for the day without my even asking. They also got me in on

48 hours' notice, which at other dealers would be a miracle.

Default I usually get horrible rental cars and very mediocre service, plus fuel pump/sender problem...

... they can't seem to fix.

At least at the BMW dealer where I take my wife's M3, you actually get a BMW loaner car... not some piece of junk ashtray on wheels from Budget or Enterprise.

Last time I had my car in there for 40K service and a few minor niggles, it took 13 days to get it back.

Default Yes. My S4 runs out of gas IMMEDIATELY if you get even close to zero...

... miles remaining on the trip computer. Long before that, the fuel pump starts whining/whiring. They replaced the fuel pump last time, allegedly, and the problem is nearly the same as before. I just don't want to take it back to them. It was hard enough to convince them there was a problem in the first place.

Default I wonder if it's simply the float in your fuel tank going bad. Mine quit completely at

about 45K miles. I fixed it according to the FAQ and have had no problems with my repair. Very simple DIY job.

On a different note, I'd love to see your car in person sometime. Do you live near Tacoma?

Default I work in Tacoma but haven't been driving the S4 lately. It's developed a strange clunk...

... that's needs a-fixin'. I really need to get off my lazy *** and get that taken care of. I miss driving the Audi!
