Anyone know of a good Independent Audi Mech in Seattle area

Looking to get engine mounts installed. Dealer is asking $800 for both mounts installed. Anyone know of a good Audi mech in the Seattle/Bellevue area that has good prices and service thanks

Default Cantrell Motorsports in Kirkland

Colin Cantrell and Brandon Higbee

Porsche racing specialists, but both own and service Audis. Shop works on all manner of high performance car.

But: Sometimes the good is not available for the cheap.

Engine mounts is a doable DIY. $800 all in or just for the labor?

Either way, that sounds oppressive.

Are you not inclined or have you not seen write ups?

I probably wouldn't go to a high end race shop to get mounts done.

Try TKO Motorwerks. They're in Auburn. I've met with them several times and they seem pretty good.

Write up from 034:

The only thing I'd add is that it is probably smart to use a jack to press up on the engine while you have a mount out.

Very easy.

Ok. Dub Autowerkstatt, then.

I replied more info in another post.

You don't need to go to some high end racer to do basic maintenance.
