Feeler for a clear bra/tint group buy
After seeing several clear bra's this weekend. I have moved it up to the front of my list of things to get done.
I am thinking of puttting together a multi forum group buy for clear bra's and tints.
Dane highly recomends accutint. I know a guy (jin) who recomends Solar reflections in auburn. I also know a 3rd guy who has had work done by Matt McElroy in seaside oregon. (mat was the instructor for stone gaurd for years).
This is just a feeler for serious people. The cost of a clear bra install runs 650-800 depending on if it is a kit or a custom cut for after market body kits.
Is there any intrest in this here?

Okay,
I am planning for 2-3 weeks of organization, then 2-3 weeks for shop schedule. So my guestimate is 4-6 weeks for wrap up of the GB.

I'm not as big a fan of Accutint as I was the past 3-4 yrs or so
I've had a couple of bad experiences as of late.
1) My co-worker goes in to get his tint done and 3M film as I had recommended. Accutint ends up tinting it 35% and not the requested 20%. His Infinit G35 ends up costing $350 for a tint job and $700 for the 3M film. Accutint's been jacking up prices for no good reason. Someone pls take over the 3M film job, keep the prices around $500 installed and you will get all the business you want. $350 for a tint job on a mid sized sedan???
The only remedy they offer is a full detail job but they end up not finishing the detail job at the promised time.
2) re-do, re-work of a bad 3M film install
I need an altnerative and it sounds like the auburn guy is someone to consider. the location sux for most in my network.

I have a friend who had issues similar to that.
Yet i have met just as many people who have had good luck. Thanks for the info, when i talk to caleb i will bring the concerns directly to him.
