Default Goodbye Cingular, it has been a fun ride.. but your time has come to an end.

A "planned" rebranding of the company. It will now be known as AT&T.
Didn't all the AT&T customers just have to get used to calling themselves Cingular customers?
Now the tables have turned. So I guess that new iPhone will say AT&T on it then instead of cingular? geeshh what a waste of money to switch everything over AGAIN!!

Link to article

Default Great, let's create more confusion. People are finally starting to get used to the Cingular name...

let's change it again and keep everyone guessing.

I'm glad I don't have to deal with this, since I'm an AirTouch customer...errr...I mean Verizon Wireless.

Default On the one hand, it will be great confusion for my (client's) customers. On the other...

I have them personally, and they have sucked royally since they became Cingular. Guess they think that changing back to AT&T will give them credibility.

Not so much credibility if they keep up the same stellar (cough, choke) customer service they now have.

They had to do it -- everyone knows that Cingular sucks!

Default I was with AT&T for years, and I had to drop Cingular a few months ago

I had my same old school digital phone for years, and they kept shutting down towers so eventually, I could barely ever even use my phone. I couldn't even hold a call for more than a minute or two driving on I-405!

Given this, they wouldn't even hook up a long time month to month customer with their new phone/technology without a new 2 year contract, and higher rates than the competition!

Buh-bye Cingular, hello T-Mobile - same phone number, lower monthly rates, good reception, decent enough customer service, couldn't be happier!!!

Oh yeah, Bank of America sucks too!! Don't get me started... ;->
