Default On that note, anyone else have Fox's F1 coverage wreak havoc on their recordings?

Over and over again TiVo elected not to record the Fox covered races because it said the race was being repeated. I finally figured out (too late) that this was because my Speed subscription was a higher priority in my Season Pass list than my Fox subscription, but damn was it irritating to miss the original airing of so many races.

Default 2nd. They changed the schedule

The original schedule had the Touring race at 9am and GT at 10am. I guess I should've rechecked the schedule before setting my alarm.

Default Actually, your post was helpful... had I logged into AW Fri night

I meant that SPEED changed their schedule from what they had posted a couple months ago. I went through and wrote down in my planner the season schedule for all of the Touring, GT, and ALMS races back in May. Back in May, the races were listed as 9am and 10am on Saturday. Obviously, they changed the times at some point, and I should've re-checked. Your posting of 8am was correct.... I just didn't see it in time.

Default BTW, thanks for the heads up on the replay. I watched it last night.

Helluva race. But I was disappointed by SPEED's coverage.... they didn't show replays of half the crashes/spinouts, including showing nothing of Ian Baass's 3-car crash early on where he had to push the Lexus (?) out of the way. They also cut away to a replay just as Ian made the move for 2nd place late in the race.... absolutely terrible timing for a replay, especially when everyone could see the pass coming.

Default yeah, a lot happening.

too little time in coverage. ian said they also missed the first time cunningham bashed into him too (it probably got hard to keep up, or to justify cunningham's win if they showed it all!). :-\

overall, ian had a lot of time. but they still could done 2 hrs on him alone. ;-) chip didn't really get any time when he was leading either...

btw, sorry haven't responded to your email. appreciate the offer, but don't need anything for free, we're happy to donate the image.

Default At least SPEED shows the entire race (minus commercial breaks)

They can't show every car for the entire race, but they usually do a good job and try to show everything that happened. This race was the exception.

I'm dreading the ALMS race on CBS this weekend... I hate CBS's coverage... take a 2:45 race and cut it down to 2 hours, then add commercials, and add a bunch of filler crap (like the pit reporter segment), and you're lucky to see half of the race.
