Default Eh. If all I had to worry about were brakes and tires I'd be a happy camper.

As you're well aware, fluids, pads, tires, bearings, bushings, clutches, blown CV boots, what have you come with the territory. Let's not talk about the REALLY expensive things that can happen. I'll take the price of pads and tires on a cool, dry day of all-out lapping anytime. Oh yeah. I would. Rain, cold, sleet, ice? Not so much. To each his/her own.

Yeah, yeah: "You learn alot!" "You'll become a much better driver!" "You can apply this to your everyday driving!" Where's this part: "Oh man, now THAT was some @#$%*ing fun!" Heh.

Snow drifting an AWD in a big empty parking lot? That's a different story, but that's not what we're talking about here.

Go, my masochistic Audi friends, go!

But, be safe!

Broken pelvis & sacrum - I haven't driven my RS6 in 3 weeks. I really wanted to be there!

While I don't mind lapping in the rain, I MUCH prefer dry, even with the added vehicle stress.

I just drove past there about 20 minutes ago and it was coming down pretty hard.

Default Yeah, the REALLY expensive things...

Engines, cars, medical bills.....things that we never want to have to be in a position to pay for. I'm itching to get back to my car really bad and all the track talk just makes it worse, the little rental peugeot 206 isn't quite the same.

Default Europe for work.

I've been gone for a while... just got finished completely rebuilding my evo before I left. Bought a new engine, did a light build, removed balance shafts, gasket matched everything, ported the head and intake manifold, made a new base map for the tune, etc. Before that I had a BAD experience with a tuning shop, which is why 99% of everything will stay DIY in the future.
