Powder Alert: Thursday, Weekend Mixed Bag , Favor Sunday (fvck me, have street tires on)
Hello Snowriders!
Thursday looks fantastic with low snow levels and 2-6" of new. Groomers will be as good as they get and there will be great powder off the groomers. It looks like a sweet day in the mountains. What I like is the very cold air. Not a ton of new, but enough, with rock bottom snow levels, quality will be outstanding - very light. It will squeek underfoot!
Friday and Saturday more snow, but rising snow levels by later Friday and Saturday, may see rain snow mix lower slopes.. Increasing snow as a new system moves in, mid to upper slopes. Friday through Saturday snow level rises to 3500 - 5500ft, then drops a tad Sunday with partly sunny weather. I will be making adjustments in the forecast Thursday late.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Consider this official notice, again!. I invoke section 3a of the Powder Clause in my contract (See my attorney, Perry Mason) I'll be doing more snow field "ground truthing" work after Sunday and my not be able to update this page. Again, I apologize in advance for any inconvenience you may experience, but come on; this comes second to actually skiing. Work smart, ski smart!
Have fun, be safe, See ya in the snow! I'll be searching and skiing the freshies
