Default Pretty easy to comprehend...English is the predominant language of America...

Although there are plenty who don't speak it, or who speak more than one language, one should expect that at most levels of the society, economy, government, etc...English is the default.

I am speaking from experience here. Try getting into a car vs. motorcycle accident in a small village in Austria and not being able to speak a lick of anything other than English. Not fun.

Default yea i know what you're saying

bottom line a sh!tty situation and not trying to lose focus on that

but my only point is not speaking the language of the country is a very provincial take on the situation. i'd argue that even those that speak the same language at many times doesn't make things more productive either.

I disagree on the DUI opinion. There should be a gradient depending on BAC. ~$5k is not really a jok

Default No way, DUI is ridiculous. You knowingly get behind the wheel of something which can kill others

while your ability to control it is greatly hindered.

1 and done.

Default it doesn't matter what race he was IMHO

the only reason I mentioned his lack of english was to illustrate how fustrating/chaotic the scene was.

Is this BMWSLAYER???

Default if he had insurance would you still cite him for attempted murder?

and you went to WSU right? that explains it.

Default He would not have been liable. Lesson for all, "if about to be rear ended, let off the brakes."

It's easy enough for police/insurance to figure it out.
