Alot of high end home audio gear does run balanced in/out
Like i said the xover i still have a million ideas about because there are so many options hence it being external and each driver having its own set of binding posts.
Mainly im doing the input variety for teh sake of flexibility since i have a preamp that runs both, and one that runs only balanced and one that does rca. Just have a lot of ideas.
Yes active crossover network would be hot. but i need to put much more research into that.
and yes once i iron out the input board the idea is to use it on a tube and solid state amp.
im telling u i need projects for the winter time
Il see when i have time to scan some of the schematics. and we can take a look at them over some beers
