Default Why must there be viruses??

Ok.. so im a little peeved but cant be too upset.

My attempt to download some "software" without "paying" for it has gotten me a virus.
Seriously though.. I cant get mad, if I wasnt trying to do something i knew i should have done, i would have been fine. Ohh the Irony of it all!!!

But on to a real note, why must people create viruses trojans, and all that other crap?

My HTPC is now infected with something called "VirusBurster" which seems to be a trojan that infects you with popups and other crap..
After reading some tutorials on how to remove it, it all doesnt seem to work. I cracked yesterday and went and bought "Norton SystemWorks 2006 Premier"
It still cant catch it its like a fake program that sits in the system tray and taunts me. I yelled at it a few times, but nothing works.. the damn thing wont leave me alone. I seriously think its watching me from inside the monitor, and laughing at me.

well i will wrap this one under "lessons learned"

Default google search enough and you'll find the solution.

fixed this for a friend of mine last month. Boiled down to downloading a little app that cleared things right up.
