1.8 T Tuning
I am looking a buying a 2001 1.8T and these are the listed mods. GIAC chip, EVOMS intake, and Borla exhaust.
I am not familiar with any of these products and wanted to find out what forum members might know or have to say about these.

They are all nice additions.
The chip is very highly regarded in these circles. The exhaust is probably the best value out there. It's not the absoute greatest, but certainly nicer than most. The intake won't make any difference in performance, but won't really hurt anything.

unless you wnat the "Blow off sound" skip the intake, get the EVOMS billet diverter valve instead...
no you wont get BOV sound, but you wont loose boost because it wont rip like the stock one after you chip.
The intake hasnt realy been proven to add any real HP, although many seem to report a litle better throtle response. not worht the $$ IMo, Im building my own when i fnaly get time.
