1996 a4 stalling

i have a 1996 a4 quattro 2.8 and it has started to consistantly stall when the revs are down. stalls at stoplights, when idling, anytime the car is not getting gas. started sporatically at first but now is all the time. anyone out there have any suggestions as to what it might be?? i would appreciate any help.

thanks much. does anyone know or have any instructions on how to remove and clean the ICV or do i have to replace it?
