2005 A6 4.2 suspension questions - need help!!
I've had a 2005 A6 4.2 with non-sport suspension and 17" wheels (for winter use) on order since Oct. 1st.
Yesterday (11/24), just as I was about to modify my order and add the sport suspension package, I learned that, as of this past Monday (11/22), (a) the sport suspension package is no longer available, (b) an S-Line package (with sports suspension) or just sports suspension itself is now available and (c) my car was "released to manufacturing" , thus, making it too late to get OEM sports suspension either in the prior sports package, the new S-Line package or by itself!!
When my car arrives in mid-to-late February, does anyone believe it would be possible and/or advisable to have my (or another) Audi dealer add the OEM sports suspension I was unable to add to my order?
Alternatively, any suggestions as to what I can add or modify to make my new A6's suspension a bit firmer for better handling without making it so stiff that the car's ride harshness is unbearable would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any input you can provide.
