Default I have one and I love it.

I had a terrible experience with a GIAC installer and had to have my computer and wiring harness replaced. While I attribute the problems to the installers failure it was compounded with Garret Lim's (sp?) lack of urgency with regard to making up for his installer's failures.

I have the MTM stage II with the exhaust and its great - no problems. I've had it for about 10,000 miles and have nothing but good things to say. It's smooth and very drivable in commuter conditions. But, get on the gas and it goes like scalded cat.

The only possible downside is thelack of a "stock" program switch. I'd like to be able to shut it off when I go to the dealer for my warranty's sake. But, I guess with the exhaust, any rational mechanic would put it together.

Without the switch, all they need to do is step on the gas in the parking lot and they know.

I'm in CT if your ever interested in taking a look. Someone did that for me and it really helped.

Default I don't think the dealer will notice the chip, but your exhaust ...

I have the Hoppen chip also, 20,000 miles on it. I also was concerned about the dealer finding out about it since They hammered me about not putting in a chip even before I took delivery of my car. They told me that it would void my warranty. 5,000 miles ago I had my car in for it's 35k and I ask them to check out the BPV as I noticed a drop in power and I was hearing a low honking noise. Turns out to be a blown seal in my turbo. They replaced the complete turbo uder warranty - no question. The chip did not show up under there test.

Default You get what you pay for.

And in this case, you pay more, you get more IMO. I've only had experience with one other chip (APR). Myself and the owner swapped cars for a quick drive, and we both felt the MTM chip had more kick to it. Feels strong, I'd love to put it on the dyno someday. Good luck

Andy
