for tt / vw only. now that you've got me started on bilstein .. (rant)
well .. dustysa4 called bilstein approx 6months ago asking about pss9 availability for the a4(b5). he was told late 2001. november'ish to be exact.
since dusty is an impatient guy and someone who likes to know specifics .. he called again a few months after his initial call. he was given the same general info, late 2001.
november came so another call he made. this time he was told early 2002. around january. around now we're thinking .. okay, they ran into a few dev problems and are working out the bugs. that happens.
now it's january. dustin called twice. i called once. we were both told "another 6 months". additionally i was also told:
"it's under development"
"we havent developed it yet"
"we usually dont start development until a year after a specific platform has been released"
um .. the a4(b5) is NO LONGER in production. ?!
i'm sure bilstein products stand on their own .. but their pr needs to be completly reengineered.
screw bilstein.
