A Spearco IC is on the way, 18"x6"x3" core, 2.5" in/out. Should fit nicely in a S4 bumper.

Looks like I'll have 2" coming off the turbo going out into the bumper area, flare out to 2.5" going to the IC, then 2.5" from the IC to the TB.

basically the same thing I did. 2" from the turbo flaired to 2.5, IC, 2.5" out of IC to the throttle body. Fits perfect. T/B is 2.5"

I got some 2.5" mandrel bend piping and silicone hose sections. I'll probably have close to $500 in it, including the IC. I'll have a write-up once it's complete.

i am looking to get an IC as well, but haven't found a reasonably priced one - they quote close to $1,000 CAD just for core(no end pipings), which is about $700US and the size is similar.

dont you think the 3" will interfere with the front metal frame bumper?

it will be below the metal frame. There is about 7" of room heightwise. You may have a problem fitting a 8" IC in there, although it may just clear, depending on how much room you have between the beam and the radiator, as the S5 bumper angles down on the bottom, and may allow an 8" IC to fit.

You could removed the metal beam, notch it to clear the IC, and put it back in if it's going to hit.
