Anybody running a Profec B (or other EBC) with a Tial external wastegate?

I think your reading the diagram wrong john.
You dont T it to the vac line from the manifold at all, the diagram shows it in the IC tube which is the same as putting it into the compressor housing. Just look at where they show the throttle body in your pic.

In that pic there is 3 lines. One from the top of the WG goes into one inlet
of the step motor while the other 2 lines get T or Y together and runs to the other inlet of the step motor.
My step motor has 3 inlets so I actually have 4 vac lines, 1 of them goes to the intake manifold so the unit inside the car can read vac/pressure.

Did you set the switches on the back of the unit for external wastegate?
I got all the ***** maxed out, and I can only get 12psi.
I'm thinking mine might be leeking because the supplied tee was too small, I'm going to get a bigger one tomorrow, but if that's not the problem, then I don'e know what is.

I would think you would need to change the switch, since the
external works and is plumbed different then a internal. External valve is pulled up with vacuum, while the internal valve is pushed to open it.
Right now it sounds like your only using the spring inside the wastegate to make pressure, once you reach that limit it will open up. The EBC then adds more pressure on top of that to allow it to stay closed till you reach the set boost you have on the unit.

I've got it set for external....
and the external has two ports, the side that opens it, and the top which helps keep it close.
If you apply the same boost to both sides, it will never open, if you apply only boost to the side, it will open with the spring, and if you vary the boost to the top, it should offset the boost on the side.
I'm thinking it's leaking from the T for the top, so that not enough boost is helping to keep it closed. I'm headed to Home Depot right now, we'll see what happens.

There is something wrong with it. Which EBC are you running? There are few ways to configure the buttons in the back of the greddy controller. I'll check today exactly the way I have set up. Currently I have the balance **** in the middle and the high boost almost maxed. I see 18-19 psi at WOT.

What psi is your wastegate spring set for?
I think my problem is that the T fitting they provide has two 6mm ends and one 4mm end, and 6mm hose doesn't seal well on a 4mm fitting
