Default Is anyone else running the FMIC X-Chip for the 225 TT? I've got a few boost questions...

I've recorded some runs and at max boost, it's at 2530 mbar (pressure @ intercooler) and 2480 mbar (pressure @ manifold), but command pressure is only at 2200 mbar. Does this mean that the Garrett has programmed the X-chip for 1.4 - 1.5 bar?

Issue I have is when I was running an APR chip, I command pressure was also at 2200, but intercooler/manifold pressure were 2350. A friend running APR also regustered boost of 1.3 - 1.4 bar at the manifold also. However, when ported the throttle body and intake, his boost dropped back to 1.1 - 1.2 bar.

He had the throttle body and intake done by Keith Wilson @ Wilson Manifolds. Keith noted that there is a "bump" that obstruct the air and may cause a back up. Also, this bump make the air almost miss cylinder 1.

Has anyone experiene this? Or any thoughts?

Default Gary, post this on the TT Forum ask Mike to get some VAG readings from him.

Also, Moses can do the same thing.

How can I get VAG readings if you have my VAG? Also, translate into PSI for me.

return my luggage and then we can use the laptop to take data runs with the VAG! lol

Default JUst busting Mike's *****, I have his laptop with VAG Com.

Gary, just give us a complete set of testing parameters and we will run the tests needed. What data blocks do you want run, what gears, what speeds? You name it and we will run it.
