Default The 16G is much bigger and wont bolt up to the PES manifold

since it has a differnt flange. Either will the GT30. You need a GT25, GT28 or you can go to a T3 but you would have to drill out bigger holes and use bolt/nuts to mount the turbo.

Default Im just curious what the flow rates are...

as in, what % generally could the PES trim T28 flow compared to, say a 16G.

Cheers,

Default Why not just move over to the GT2535 setup or even a GT2835.

Both of those will bolt up to the PES manifold but would also need custom tuning. The other thing is they both cost about $1400 and up to $2600 from HKS.

Remember the T28 is the first upgrade for a 2g Eclipse turbo then the next step up is the 16G. Really not sure what the flow rate is compared to the 16g though. BTW Greedy uses a 16G for their 1.8t VW kits.

Default Im pretty happy with my car's performance right now...

it really pulls *hard* with the exhaust opened up. The FMIC is next, and then i assume i can use a FMIC program with a little more timing (BTW do you know what that program is called, i know the J31 is the GIAC KO4 FMIC program, for instance).

After that i figure ill just chill and stop spending so much on the car I also have some Miata stuff i need to get around too, and this summer i intend to track a bit, and that costs some money unfortunately.

Cheers,
Sameer

Default Also...... as it would bolt to the manifold.

the GT25/35 will not bolt to the cat adapter.
Just an FYI.

A 16G compressor wheel flows roughly 500 cfm's.
A T28 compressor wheel flows around 325 cfm's.
A GT30 compressor wheel flows around 450 cfm's.

just was peaking around on some turbo sites.
All the #'s will vary a little depending on the exact trim that is used.
I was trying to find some flow rates on the K03 and K04 chargers but couldn't find any information.

Default hahahah " that costs *some* money unfortunately"

if you're gonna track the miata, don't even put the FMIC on the A4, save the $ for tires and brake pads
