Default Anyone here install apr stage III themselves?

How difficult a pprocedure did you find it to be? Can you compare it to installing a k04? Any super huge annoying gotchas? I imagine most performance places would want 700 bucks or more to do it, and that's a lot of money
Thanks,
Sean

ND told me it was a 10-12hour job. If places charge $700 for a 4 hour spring job, I imagine double

Default Yes

If you have above average mechanical skills, you can handle it. Much more involved than a K04. I would count on 20 hours without a lift.

Email me if you would like more specifics.

I'm not the most mechanically inclined person so I paid $575 to get it done.

Like what everyone said.. if you have average mechanic skills you can do it. It's not that difficult, just time consuming. You'll be alright as long as you wear heavy gloves to keep all your fingers =)

Default I've done it twice now. (the kit is for sale)

It's quite a job, but doesn't require anything too special for tools or skills. The only special tool is a crow's foot to get the stupid manifold nuts on tight, 12mm. RS and Shoe were really helpful when I did mine.

BTW, I just took mine off, that's the second job, to sell the car. Anyone want a full kit cheap? Sorry for the spam.
