Default Anyone installed a K16 on thier car
actually specified as a K16.2 rated at 177Kw's, I think it has an external wastegate. What are your thoughts?

Default AMS used to sell a ABT K16 setup that was rated at 265hp-285 hp
it used a internal wastegate and cost around $7K.

But i think you will find it similar to k-04 motorsport turbo.

Default Juans K16 has been a door stop for a few years.
I think he also had one on his first A4 but not sure how it ran.

Default so what are ABT using now?...
i think most guys are going for the KO4-15 and not daring to experiment any futher with the KKK line but jumping on to something else.

Default The problem is getting tuning done with a different size turbo.
Buying a turbo is the easy part.

it's currently my door stop for 2 years now i was going to use it but eh.. gave up the idea.
