apr lockout default?

apr lockout default?
Hey all,
I have an a3 that has some apr software burned on. I have the lockout feature and not too long ago the car battery died and I had to replace it. I notice that if power is disconnected you lose your lockout settings. How does one fix this issue?
Is there a default lockout code? Or am i doomed to finding a new provider where i live and paying for the fix?
