Attempting to take off the bumper (B5 A4)

Default Attempting to take off the bumper (B5 A4)

im installing my PureMS snub mount and im in the process of taking off the bumper. i believe i have got off al the screws. i can push in the bumper in about 1inch and pull it out another 1inch but it feels that its caught on the fenders somewhere. anybody have experience taking off the front bumper and could help me? thanks

Default I posted on your other thread. You have to push the bumper in and then

push the ends of the bumper downward.

Default Do you pull them out at the same time as your push the ends downward, or does it click out

and how hard should i be pushing, im afrad i might brake something.thanks

Default quick way, insert a screw driver through the black brackets...

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/9/bumper_removal_trick.jpg"></center><p>If you are not sure which brackets, take off the signal light (since your's is a seperate unit for a 97). You'll see where you need to insert the screw driver. Pry and pop out. Bumper off in a couple of seconds after you take off the long allen bolts up front
