Did you do a throttle body adaption? Maybe do a hard reset on the ECU?

50 rpm isn't much to worry over.

yeah it is it bounces from like 700/750 to like 850/900 rpm so it is actually like 100-200 rpm bounce

Default Did it do it ever since you got the chip, or did it just recently start?

A vacuum leak could cause a rough idle, and could possibly be exaggerated by the chip, or just a coincidence it occored at the same time the chip went in.

Also, how many miles on the plugs? Chips are harder on the plugs, so if they have a lot of miles, you may want to replace them.

Default 50 rpm is not anything to worry about .. 200 rpm is a different story.

I doubt it is anything systemic with the GIAC chip ... otherwise we'd have heard of this as an issue. Like John said, I'd look for a vacuum leak and look at the plugs. I'd also look at a good manual cleaning of the throttle body (especially at the throttle plate 'seat' and the edges of the plate itself. You'll need a gasket (IIRC <1$) and a good quality Throttle Body cleaner .. not a carb cleaner.

Default im having that same issue, but usually only when i turn the heat/ac on...

or when turning the wheel while stopped (i.e. to back out of a parking spot)

also been getting fairly bad gas mileage since installing the chip. car even smells like its running very rich

did it ever since i got the chip. plugs, front and rear 02 sensors, fuel pressure regulator, maf, fuel filter, purge valve, all have been replaced by dealer with in the last 600 miles when i put chip in i put in forge motorsport diverter valve piston type and my engine was propane fogged 3 times by mechanic to look for vacuum leak before they replaced the above parts and there is no vacuum leak
