Best performance chip upgrade for a 2014 S5 Cab Prestige 3.0TFSI
I am sure that most of you are going to say, here goes another newbie on the forum, but here goes...we got the newbie out of the way.... what I like to know, given the various posts and opinions on the tuning products out there, what would be the best bang for the $$$$$ relative to the performance chips that are out in the market?
Please advise.
Cheers,
LB

I've bene researching this a lot.
Rennchip's site doesn't work at all so I'd be leery of them.
Chipwerke and Racechip seem to be about the same pro vs cone wise with some good reviews of both. There is a Chipwerke review for the A7 as well for some other models. All 3 of these were started by the same guy. almost 50 HP increase at rear wheel. 80HP with an intake and pulley swap. Lots of reviews for the Racechips but I didn't find dyno results. MPG increased.

I will read the posts, I am kind of leaning towards the Chipwerke, maybe because it states made in Germany vs China or some other flipping place!
It does not seems like anyone on this forum has done it or simply don't care to reply, much appreciated!

Have Chipwerks in my Sq5... Unitronics Stage 2 with DP and TCU in my S5 convertible.... hands down the Unitronics tune is a much better way of increasing performance.
Chipwerks is a nice bump for the money, until funds are saved for the full tune package.
