Default I've had some experience here...

Motor was my AAN I-5 from a 93 urS4. I was running a pretty large Garrett T04E 54 trim hybrid. I would typically run boost at 22-24lbs. I ended up with a few burnt valves and when my shop went to pull my head, several of the stock Audi head bolts were stretched. I ended up with a full port and polish with ARP head studs and lowered compression. I now run upwards of 28lbs on 91 octane and 30lbs with 100 octane with a 57 trim. HTH.

Hap, wit nomoh stretchin like dahkine in Evahboost

Default Studs actually cause problems on hi boost

Much better to use stretch bolts. replace as necessary. Studs have no give, will cause head casting to compress. Ask MTM what they use.

Default if it's just 28psi on a K04, I wouldn't worry about it....

since you'll just be blowing hot air.

If it was a real turbo, that was actually in it's effeciency range at 28psi, then you might want to consider it.
