Blow Off Valve??? Can you hear it.
#3
don't do it
Putting in a blow-off valve (BOV) as opposed to the bypass valve (BPV) will cause the car ECU (computer) to be unable to properly manage fuel mixtures. As such, your performance will decrease.

Re: Blow Off Valve??? Can you hear it.
The stock system has a By Pass Valve in order to re-circulate the extra air back in to the sytstem by installing a Blow Off Valve you are venting the air externally and throwing off the cars system. The end result is you will run rich. I love the sound too but it seems that the closest we can come is to chip it and change to a cone filter. More boost and an open intake sound. *Note* there is much debate over the open cone intakes so do your homework on the one before going that route as well.

the stock BPV makes the sound too
to test, losen the clamps of the intake hose that goes to your airbox, slide it out. rev your engine up to 4000rpm and let let go quickly. KPHIIIISHHH?
