boost controller... which ones have no boost spike?

boost controller... which ones have no boost spike?
as i am counting my pennies and at the same time my next payday date, if i didn't want to get manual boost controller, does anyone know which one is decent? i.e. easy to use, and it regulates without spiking?

I use the HKS and there are no boost spikes. I might even be looking at
selling it since I can now control the boost levels with the Mobile Tuner from GIAC right with the N75 valve.

No high /low boost options(in most cases) and no scramble boost...
Honestly, if the kit I bought didn't include an EBC I would be using an MBC. They both get the job well but the MBC costs about 5% as much.
