Default Re: brake lines on lowered suspenssion.

I haven't had problems, nor has anyone I know. Lowering the car would actually cause slack in the flex line, not make it tighter.

Default Probably not, but that's what your mechanic will tell you when

he has the caliper hanging free when doing struts or rotors and THAT stresses the SS line enough that when he backs your car out, the line may snap. btdt, on my own. Must...use...zipties. ;-)

Default No I am freaking out.

My brake hose poped while I was braking. Preliminary mechanic told me, that it because of the upgraded suspenssion. Now after close look He saing, that line was cut. This is Audi dealership and they did not work on the brakes before. So they do not have any interest in lieing. I have replaced these hoses a year ago. Every time, when I change oil and car is on the lift, I check stuff including brake hoses (so as a mechanic themself). I do not recall anybody leaving brake caliper hanging on the brake hose.

So I filed police report. I will keep people on off-topic forum updated.
