Default Hey Steve!

Nice to hear from you too! Too bad NJ was such a hole - Chris & I would have driven back up if not for Atlantic City's proximity! =P So please forgive our absence from the 1.8T Challenge 2nd day.

But how did you end up doing? Your car looked great and I'm sure you had enough time to check out your exhaust issue,... and when will the European Car issue be out???

I'm posting another thread on a real update about the A4 on this forum - the issues I'm currently undergoing.

I really haven't done too much. I still need more fuel, but I decided it's really time to spend some money on the exterior.

I've started to work on the Ford MAF idea again, and so far, I've got it to simulate the stock MAF (which is a much better result than last time I tried)

I just got an adjustable pressure regulator, new fuel rail, and Wideband O2, so hopefully I'll be turning the fuel pressure up soon and see what happens.

I did put down 250HP at the wheels with no tuning though.

Default The first day we started it with the K04 "chip" it had no problem at idle.

GIAC did some work on the idle and part throttle which is done now. They said they would get started on the WOT tuning this week.

BTW the injectors are a "dual pulse", which means they only run on every other pulse till the injector pulse increases to a set point and then the second pulse of the injector is add to make it 800cc.

It was a lot of fun and I did really well in the autocross after I got the cat welded back together. The Dec issue of EC should be out at the end of October. Good luck with your car.

Dont worry, there will be a few soon that will push you all the way off the road! Some ore going for way more than me for drag based cars, but I am shooting for 330@ wheels on Pump gas and 440@ wheels on race to use for a track car which means irt will be built for the long haul. Most of you guys dont know me, but the 5 cylinder turbo guys do, and I dont make brags I make big power and let the car talk. I look for 600WHP from some of my friends by next 1.8t challenge. And maybe a 900hp A4 with a 5 cylinder turbo in it.\

Default I second that,...

I happen to like to go fast and want to compare with other A4's and the 1/4 mile seems to be a good benchmark. All the tracks are different around here and it's impossible to compare times.
