bypass valve brand comparisons?
I'm currently looking to upgrade my stock bypass valve, but I'm not sure which brand of valve to go with. I've done some searching through the archives, and have read mention of many different brands. Here are some brands I've read of so far:
Bailey
Forge
PES
TurboXS
Turbo5
Any comment on these or any other brands? The TurboXS and PES BPVs are pretty expensive at $180 or so. I've seen people mention the other valves at around $80, though. What's the difference? Why such a huge price diff?
Thanks.

Here....
IMO a bypass is a bypass valve. As long as it holds boost, who cares what it is made out of and how pretty it is. It's not like you are gonna be looking at the thing after you install it. Some of the valves are rebuildable, for different amounts of boost, I guess the spring which opens the valve has different settings or something. I don't know, nor do I care as long as the thing works. It is not something that you will be playing with much or at all. The price difference is the material. Anything that "forged" and shiny is going to cost you more. Just get one that holds boost and you will be fine.
