Default Can I run S4 axles on my A4?

I am donig an S4 drivetrain switch on my 97 A4 and was thinking about running the S4 axles too for strength. Do they work with my bearings? Thanks

Default You would need the uprights that hold the larger bearings

The Contol arms have different part numbers, but I hear they are interchageable. dunno.

You would also need different brakes. If you have stoptechs that means that you need different brackets and hats. Or you need S4 brakes.

This is is how I started off. S4 drivetrain. that led to the S4 motor swap and ultimately the S4 interior swap... Good luck

BTW - I have a spare set up uprights that I can sell if you decide to do it...

Default uh oh, I may have misunderstood.

I was talking fronts... Did you mean rear?

For the rear, they are interchangeable. Brakes are the same too. My bad - I assumed you meant fronts as the rears are a direct swap.

The car is coming alone slooow. I keep waiting on parts. I spend way more time ordering stuff than installing stuff. Once I get my exhaust manilfolds and downpipes I am ready to drop the motor in and rock and roll...

Your project is badass. I am starting to miss driving my car. Your pics did not help any

Default so we don't need anything for the rears except for the axles?

bearings are the same? no big deal i can return the stuff i don't need if that is the case. I for sure need the axles from them.
