The power steering system has it's own pump. ...
You can follow a line from the small trombone cooler in front of the radiator to the power steering fluid reservoir. The other line from the reservoir goes to the belt driven power steering pump, which develops pressure in the line going to the steering rack. The fluid returns from the steering rack to the trombone cooler.
