I am looking to install a chip into my A4 1.8T, it is a 1998 with 40,000 miles. What is the best brad, average price and what kind of boost in horse power?

Also does anyone have any friends who could help me out, greatly appreciated.

Default Humpty Dumpty...
...makes the BEST chips. You can only get them in Maine and they don't even come in BBQ flavor.
