"The much anticipated "Hardware Only" turbo kit based on one of Garrett's most robust Ball Bearing turbochargers available for the 1.8T engine equipped FWD Golf/Jetta/GTI/Beetle/Audi TT."
Direct your attention to the words "hardware only", which indicates there's no programming available. Short answer to your question, yes, it will fit a 225TT. You'd be happier with the MTM kit though, albeit the price is much higher(initially), but you'll have smooth, street legal power...

MTM stage 3 for 225TT

please don't say it fits 225TT unless you are absolutly sure - it is an expensive mistake.
it MAY fit the FWD 180TT sold pre 2001 if you did some hacking up, but not quattro TT... i've had a good look at the space and after making one downturn pipe last week, i don't think that will fit imo.

Looks like a turbo and some pipe to me, will prob. work if you bend pipe as necessary!?!???
Tommorow I am going to put a blind pic of a turbine out and ask if it will work in an A4 sedan. good luck. Does look like a hoofor to me tho.

Didn't "hottub" do a bigger turbo on his?
Your best answer would be from someone who has done it on thier own car. I say it'd fit. Keep in mind, when you do a project like this there's gonna be sacrifices. Things will have to be moved, reconfigured, fabricated, etc. When I did mine on my A4, I had to modify engine & trans mount brackets, & seriously hack up my front clip. I have no doubt it will fit & work, but you'd need to be ready to make those sacrifices. There'll also be driveability loss, it won't be the same audi quality smoothness, there'll be vibrations, rattles, etc, and I'd be interested in the power handling capacity of the haldex as well.....

re: haldex
I think I read somewhere on hpamotorsports site that they use the stock drivetrain even on their big power upgrades.
I think they tested it up to around 600hp but I can't recall exactly.
I'll look for the info, it may just be hearsay.
Here's what I found quicklike: speaking of the haldex system "...Working with the more than adequate factory All Wheel drive system..."
Anyway in one of their articles they mention testing it safely to a high hp number...sorry I can't be more specific.

http://www.hpamotorsports.com</a

re: haldex
I've never seen any specs on it's capacity, but I've taken them apart before. Reminded me of an old school automatic 3 speed trannie, just a big wet clutch, nothing complicated about it. I guess I initially thought it wasn't impressive enough to hold much power, but the car isn't as heavy as the old tanks I'm referring to, plus it's awd & only doing a percentage of the work!
