mine did that
even noticed one on Garrets Personal car back when he had a silver non-DBW W/ the same kit
my crack was right by the mani/turbo flange & it grew to about an inch & stopped, never did leak though

I had the same problem...
except my crack was about 3inches long.
i called PES and they took their time sending me a new one but they did. i just resent their old one back to them.
this second time, i had my mechanic replace the manifold and he said that he noticed a certain bracket was missing. i think a bracket that supports the turbo onto the actuall block. he said that without it, the vibration causes a harmonic vibration that leads to the cracking. he said that if i dont get that bracket, it will definitely crack the new one.
Why PES did not include this bracket, i dont know. needless to say, he mad one for me and now everthing is good.
by the way, the 3 inch crack was just on the top. there was a 2 inch crack on the bottom as well.
