Default did a little searching but not sure...

Are there aftermarket master/slave cylinders to replace the oem with to help get a better pedal feel? I am looking into getting a new clutch and was curious if i need to replace those parts too, I know they go bad over time and I have over 80k on my a4 right now. Its a 1.8T. I know that the new clutch will make the pedal feel a little more firm but what about the engagement level? Mine has always engaged extremly high, like maybe an inch from the top.

Default High engagement is normal, aftermarket clutches will lower the engagement point, a DIY clutch stop

would also compensate for the problem if you feel it needs correcting. I've never heard of any aftermarket master/slave cylinders for the clutch.

Default Your PP has more to do with that than anything

An aftermarket PP will change all of that.

As long as the hydraulics are good on your car, the PP will make the most difference.

I personally like Clutchnet clutches and PP's.

Default Clutchnet again

A lot of rally guys use them, and they seem to hold up, even under abuse. and high HP.

Felix has one on his CQ at close to 350+, and it worked great for us at Main Forest, and I think he took it to the Glen or Lime Rock as well.

I've got one for mine too.<ul><li><a href="http://www.clutchnet.com">Clutchnet</a></li></ul>
