Default Geez a real performance question, no wonder...

There aren't any responses. Audi uses a broad frequency detector made by bosch. It works great up until very high level of boost or noise. If you have a race machine, either very stiff or high boost, run the J&S sensor system. It is much more selective, narrow frequency range and a much more rapid response time.

Default How wide a band does the stock detector use?

Does it consider 7kHz to be knock, or does it use a broader range?

Nice observation... The truth hurts, but its good to see you aren't afraid to tell the emperor...
