doing the EFK soon, any tips?

I second the adjustable thermostat...
I used a Derale one with an A/C trigger and an adjustable thermostat. It is the best way to install an EFK. Without the thermostat, the fan doesn't come on often enough.

I'd say yes to the relay. Better to have the thermostat trigger a relay than run the full amperage
thru the thermostat.
Take a look at http://www.jcwhitney.com/product.jhtml?CATID=5189&BQ=jcw2 for the adjustable thermostat and the relay you can get most anywhere.

http://www.jcwhitney.com/product.jhtml?CATID=5189&BQ=jcw2</a

ok that makes sense... I hadn't thought that far... where did you put the temp probe?
I want to install my EFK, but I am unwilling to do it until I have the whole thing clear in my head, and it isn't clear there yet...
