getting ECU back to standard help
here is some background as to why I need to get ECU back to standard
got hold of a non-running Q7
was told it would only start on easy start
there were no injectors in the car as these had "been sent off for testing"
reason would not start was the usual HPFP failiure, replaced pump, injectors, fuel lines, tank flush, filters ect
also fitted failiure kit so that would not kill everything if it went again.
previous owner has removed DPF, EGR and did stage 1 ECU tune.
dont think they have had it running properly since doing this work, another reason I think a bad tune.
however, when starting the car smokes bad, on inital start there is not so much, but as soon as rev it will increase, floor it and get loads
hence thinking very high overfueling.
Deviation values (at Idle) are in tollerance (I think) at
Cyl 1 0.05mg
Cyl 2 1.18mg
Cyl 3 -1.18mg
Cyl 4 -1.36mg
Cyl 5 0.28mg
Cyl 6 0.94mg
They dont change too much when revving, but did not make note of values
there is no pressure from oil cap, checked compression and all good and equal pressures too, no coolant loss, no oil loss, levels dont change
I think the car is overfueling due to maybe a bad map put on it, so i want put back to standard, but of course I dont have the old map to put back
Is it possible to put a standard map from another Q7 from say internet or another member? if so what is the cheapest/easiest to use programmer I can get.
Ive looked KESS or Ktag, are they any good for what i need to do?
On VCDS it gives the following info on the ECU, does it seem like the correct one has been uploaded?
Flash Tool Code 00000 042 91750 - dont know if anyone knows what tool that relates to.
Software A5.1.11 - am wondering if these means it was for an A5 and not a Q7
Engine is a CASA 3.0
